Hey, it’s Roslyn here I want to tell you a little bit about
my brand 💗 Roslyn Studio is Northwest based,
Independent Jewellery Brand.

As the founder and Glass Artist, I blend traditional Craft
with contemporary design, sculpting each Murano Glass piece over a
high-intensity flame. The result is playful yet sophisticated, sculptural
jewellery, unique in its individual quirks and personality. Each Piece is then
finished for the maximum durability through kiln annealing.

I am a painter to my core and by heart. It's how I declutter my mind and create
a sense of calm. My intuitive lines and brush strokes often resemble an
otherworldly, almost other dimension and alien like version of the natural
world around us. I then translate my intuitive lines and scribbles into
sculptural forms through the mesmerising process of lampworking, to create
wearable Art for you to adorn yourself with. I spend hours by my flame,
completely fixed on the mesmerising and magical alchemy of lampworking.

I see jewellery as an extension of Art and Sculpture. My
love for Jewellery and my understanding of the Art of Adornment goes back to
family, and from watching my mother accessorise herself creatively with
sentimental and quirky Jewellery.

My lampworking journey and my love for Glass as a material
began during university while pursuing my degree in Craft and Design. I became
completely hooked on the ancient craft, the instant gratification of turning
solid glass to molten form and back again in front of my eyes, and much like my
intuitive paintings, with the fluidity and spontaneity the process allows.

In October 2021, I took a leap of faith, leaving my 9-5 job to pursue my
passion full-time, allowing me to embody creativity every day, something I really needed for my soul. The past four and a half years have been a whirlwind
of love and support from customers, cultivating an indie brand cult following
that has helped grow Roslyn Studio from the ground up.

From scrappy beginnings first sculpting pieces in my garage and turning up at
markets with just my rings, a chalkboard, and my logo scribbled onto each box
with a sharpie - my brand has evolved into the diverse Core Collection you see
today, Now Handcrafted in my bright and beautiful Studio based in Merseyside.

Markets and pop-ups have and always will be an integral part
of my journey and small business. From taking part in regular pop-ups and
markets up and down the country and even internationally, the connection with
customers goes beyond purchases; it's about shared stories, life updates, and
creating beautiful jewellery for my RS Community, which help you express your
personal style, stand out, and hold sentiment in your jewellery collection.

A stroke of serendipity with being in the right place/market, and at the right time, paved the way to collaboration with
prestigious names like Tate Liverpool and The Design Museum, even landing a limited-edition
collection on selfridges.com.
